River North Chicago Dance Company arrives at Emens

As one of Chicago's leading dance companies, The River North Dance Company provides emotional performances that gravitate towards the audience.

The River North Chicago Dance Company will be performing Sunday, Sept. 12 at John R. Emens Auditorium at 7 p.m. Student tickets are $5, adults tickets are $22.

Christie Zimmerman, a dance professor at Ball State, expects only the best from the River North Dance Company's performance.

"I expect it to be great. I've grown up watching them and going to their performances. They have a variety of repertoire and they have an amazing reputation," Zimmerman said. "I'm really looking forward to it."

The Dance Company will also be hosting a master class for all the students in Zimmerman's jazz dance class. The students will get to experience interacting with professionals while incorporating educational benefits to their studies.
